Quarryman® Pro is the latest version of MDL's Industry Standard laser rock profiling system, Quarryman®', now in use by most major surface mine and quarry operators.
The system uses include 3D rockface profiling (to determine rockface geometry and blast hole burdens), stockpile volume measurement and 3D mapping of entire mine sites.
Quarryman® Pro combines the features of earlier motorised Quarryman® systems with MDL's more advanced LaserAce® Scanner.
The Quarryman® Pro now enables users to operate the instrument like a conventional total station and as a Quarryman® auto scanner/ rock profiler and fast 3D laser scanner (up to 250 points per second), without sacrificing Quarryman®'s ease of use and rugged reliability,.
Quarryman® Pro can measure and record millions of data points on board the instrument (into its internal removable flash memory). There is no need for external field recorders or computers.
