Ezisearch E100 Ground signal injector
This provides a solution to energising all conductive services simultaneously with a tracing signal within a local area.
EZiSEARCH is deployed around the boundary of the job site (100m reel) and results in an electrical current flowing in the ground/dirt between the earth pins. All conductive services within this area will pick up this signal and result in improved detection success.
EZiSEARCH (E100)
The primary application scenario for E100 is that it forms an important part of the EZiDIG system to ensure maximum detection reliability is always achieved. For site operations this means that an excavator can work within this perimeter in any orientation relative to buried services and gain maximum detection reliability, detecting all conductive services. If the E100 is not used then the EZiDIG sensor can only detect available signals and performance on some difficult to detect services will be reduced. (see you-tube link below)
A consequence of using E100 is that all conductive services will carry this signal, if using a locator (DIGICAT) then this will enhance detection reliability but may result in difficulty in tracing or identification of an individual service. There is clearly an application scenario for this combination of equipment to detect all services with ease.
